PRICE AND PAYMENT
The price payable for the goods you order is as set out on our web site at the time you place your order on plus any charges for shipping costs applicable and as set out in the order form. Electricians Direct must receive payment for the whole of the price of the goods you order, and any applicable charges for shipping, before your order can be accepted.

RETENTION OF TITLE
Goods sold under retention of title terms. The ownership of the goods shall not pass to the customer until full payment of the purchase price but the risk shall pass on delivery. This clause shall not be overridden by any buyer's conditions of purchase and orders are accepted on this basis. Notwithstanding delivery and the passing of risk in goods, or any other of these conditions, the property in the goods shall not pass to the buyer until Electricians Direct has received cleared funds payment in full the price of the goods and all other goods agreed to be sold by Electricians Direct to the buyer for which payment is then due. In respect to credit card payments, in the event of a 'charge back', title of the goods previously purchased shall pass back to Electricians Direct.
In the event of price increases or reductions the price charged would be that ruling on the date of order. Availability and price detail will be checked prior to any credit card charges being made to the customer.

Item descriptions are given in good faith but may change without notice and do not form part of any sale contract. Images are used to give a representation of a product, and may differ from the exact model described. A customer may reject goods within a reasonable period if this is found to be the case. If this is found to be the case, contact us.
If you have notified us of a problem with the goods within a reasonable period, we will either make good any shortage or non-delivery; replace any goods that are damaged or defective or arrange to refund on return of the goods.
We shall have no liability to you for any failure or delay in supply or delivery or for any damage or defect to goods supplied or delivered hereunder that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control (including, without limitation, strikes, lockouts and other industrial disputes).
If any part of these conditions is invalid, illegal or unenforceable (including any provision in which we exclude our liability to you) the validity, legality or enforceability of any other part of these conditions will not be affected. This contract shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English law. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected. A seven day from delivery 'cooling-off' period is allowable. During this period, starting after the day of delivery, a customer may make us aware of their intention to return goods supplied, without explanation and a full refund will be made within 30 days. The customer will remain liable for return transit costs. Where a consumer exercises their right to cancel, a refund must be given within 30 days of cancellation, regardless of whether the goods have been returned. If goods are not returned within a reasonable time, for example the 30 days, then the cost of collecting the goods can then be deducted from the refund.
We will acknowledge complaints within 5 working days and advise the consumer how long it will take to resolve the complaint. We will keep the consumer informed throughout the process.
